RWC Canberra has announced the acquisition of Sentia’s commercial property business, marking a significant expansion of its sales, leasing and property management capabilities across the ACT and surrounding region.

Effective from the beginning of the 2026/27 financial year, the entire Sentia team will relocate to RWC Canberra’s Braddon office and operate under the RWC Canberra brand.

The move will create the ACT’s largest commercial sales and leasing team, while significantly strengthening RWC’s already substantial property management portfolio.

The acquisition follows years of collaboration between the two businesses, which have worked together on numerous commercial property transactions and share many longstanding clients.

“This came together very naturally,” said Frank Giorgi of RWC Canberra.

“RWC and Sentia have collaborated on many property deals over the years and share many key clients. Once the idea was floated, we all agreed to go ahead very quickly due to the synergies between the two organisations.”

The merger brings together two highly respected commercial property groups with aligned values, complementary strengths and a shared commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes for clients across all asset classes.

“Both organisations have strong cultures and reputations with an edict to go above and beyond for our clients,” Frank said.

“We are aligned in managing commercial property all through the region across every asset class.”

The combined business will significantly enhance service offerings for existing clients by bringing together specialist expertise across industrial, retail, office and development site sales, alongside an expanded property management platform.

“This will create the ACT’s largest sales and leasing team with multiple experts across industrial, retail, office and development site sales,” said Ben Faulks, Ray White Canberra Group Chairman.

“Property management clients will continue to benefit from the scale of our operations, highlighted by specialists in facilities management, trust accounting and financial management.”

“Our goal has always been to maximise our clients return on investment, and working together with the team from Sentia will only strengthen our ability to deliver on that promise.”

While the RWC Canberra leadership structure will remain unchanged, key members of the Sentia leadership team will remain involved throughout the integration process to ensure a seamless transition for clients and staff.

Frank said Sentia’s reputation, local focus and longstanding client relationships made the business a natural fit for RWC Canberra’s future vision.

“Their excellent reputation and results made it a no-brainer,” he said.

“Throw in the fact that Sentia strives to serve mainly local clients and has built long-standing relationships; they had me at hello.”

The acquisition positions RWC Canberra for continued growth over the next three to five years, with the combined business set to manage more than 1,500 tenancies across the region, while operating the largest commercial property management, sales and leasing teams in the ACT.

“We are proud of the journey that RWC Canberra has undertaken over the last 5 years since we took responsibility for upholding the reputation of Mark Thompson & Steve Scifleet.

“They taught us to keep the client at the centre of everything that we do, and that legacy is now being passed on to the next generation of leaders. I’m excited for what’s to come.”
