Nima Aliasgary has joined LJ Hooker as sales director of the newly rebranded LJ Hooker Alliance Group, taking on the job of accelerating growth across Sydney’s Northern Beaches and Forest areas.
He will work alongside principals Kathleen Fairweather and Michael Ferguson as the group’s Narrabeen and Forestville offices transition to the LJ Hooker network.
According to LJ Hooker, Nima was ranked among the top one per cent of agents in his former network.
“I love the brand, the colours and the opportunities that come with transitioning to such a high-profile and trusted network,” he said.
“We are a very established business, and people know us in the area, but this will bring new energy, support our expansion and help us continue delivering outstanding customer service.”
Stephan Gervois, General Manager, welcomed Nima and his team, known as Team Nima, into the network.
“Nima is an exceptional agent whose ambition, energy and commitment to his clients make him an ideal fit for LJ Hooker,” Gervois said.
“His decision to join our network reflects the strength of the opportunity we offer high-performing agents who want to grow their businesses while retaining the relationships, reputation and personal approach that have driven their success.”

Nima’s route into real estate began a long way from the industry. He represented Iran as an international soccer player before relocating to Sydney after meeting his wife during a tournament.
Unable to continue playing, he bought a Domino’s franchise in Forestville, located directly opposite a real estate agency. Over time, he began chatting about business with staff who came in to buy pizza.
“One of the agents told me that I talked too much, but that I made sense and should not be standing next to an oven all day. He suggested I consider a career in real estate,” he said.
“It was my wife who encouraged me to take the next step because she saw me as a natural salesperson. I sold the pizza franchise and started studying for my real estate qualifications. On the day I finished my certificate, I was offered my first job, and things happened very quickly from there.”
As a new agent, he was encouraged to complete four appraisals a week but was soon booking five times as many; he was so impressive that within his second week on the job he was door-knocking and liaising independently with clients.
He went on to become a leading agent in Belrose and Frenches Forest, achieving the first sale above $4 million in the Forest area.
Stephen said the appointment reflected the network’s momentum as it approaches its centenary.
“Welcoming professionals of this calibre is a strong endorsement of the LJ Hooker brand, our strategy and the momentum we are building as we approach our centenary,” he said.
For Nima, the appeal is consistency.
“My clients see the same Nima from the day they sign with me until the day I sell their property, and that is one of our points of difference,” he said.
“We work hard right until the end. Even if the market is coming down, we are not coming down. We bring the same energy and determination to every campaign.”
