The luxurious oceanfront beach house owned by the Trump family is once again available for rent in Palm Beach, Florida, for US$195,000 a month.
The eight-bedroom mansion is situated close to Mar-a-Lago and has been part of the Trump family’s property portfolio since the early 2000s, according to Mansion Global.
The beach house was owned by Maryanne Trump Barry, a retired federal appellate judge and Donald Trump’s sister, from 2004 to 2018.
According to property records, the mansion was sold for US$18.5 million to a limited liability company managed by Eric Trump, Maryanne’s nephew, who listed the Trump Organisation headquarters in Manhattan as its mailing address.
At the time Eric Trump, who is the former US President’s son, described the home to Mansion Global in a statement as “one of the finest mansions in Palm Beach“.
Constructed in 1956, the two-storey Bermuda-style mansion occupies an area of 971sq m and features marble floors, walls of glass, and multiple living areas, making it spacious and inviting.
The formal dining room is perfect for hosting dinner parties, while the library provides a cozy space for reading.
The primary bedroom suite is a stunning area with a seating area, private balcony, and an excellent view of the ocean, making it the perfect place to unwind after a long day.
The house has more than 60m of direct water frontage, a garage, and a pool-side seating room, ideal for hosting guests.
Margit Brandt of Premier Estate Properties manages the property, and it is listed as the exclusive affiliate of Christie’s on Palm Beach Island. The rental listing mentions that approved occupants will have coveted access to the exclusive Mar-a-Lago Beach Club next door.
