Experienced sales agent Beryl Fan has stepped into business ownership, joining Mario and Jessica Carbone as a co-owner of Ray White City South in a move that marks the next chapter for one of Sydney’s most enduring inner-city agencies.

Mario and Jessica Carbone, who own Ray White Drummoyne, will operate the two offices as separate businesses while sharing resources and building a group culture across some of Sydney’s most tightly held inner-city markets.

Together, the offices will service a footprint that stretches from the city south fringe into Sydney’s inner west.

For Beryl, the move is the realisation of a long-held ambition; she brings four years of sales experience at Ray White Drummoyne to her new role, where she built a loyal client base and earned a reputation for refreshingly honest, personalised service.

Her results speak for themselves but so does the way she works, with clients consistently returning and referring others as a result of the trust she builds throughout the sales process.

Before entering real estate, Beryl spent many years as a financial controller, a career that gave her a level of commercial discipline rarely found on the agency floor.

Combined with her CPA qualification, that background underpins an attention to detail and a strategic understanding of property transactions that has consistently set her apart from her competitors and delivered outstanding outcomes for her clients.

Business ownership has long been Beryl’s destination.

“Beryl has always had a clear idea of where she was headed,” said Mario.

“When the opportunity arose it was simple: we work well together, we share the same values, and we know what we want to build. She has the drive, the discipline and the client relationships to take this business forward.”

Beryl said the timing and the partnership made the decision straightforward.

“I have always wanted to run my own business. That has been the goal from the beginning and this is the right opportunity, with the right people, in the right market. To do it within Ray White, alongside Mario and Jess, in a market as strong and as dynamic as inner Sydney — it’s exactly where I want to be.”

Ray White NSW CEO Tim Snell said the partnership was exactly the kind of bold, ambitious thinking the network looks to back.

“Mario, Jess and Beryl are a dynamic group and I have enormous confidence in what they are going to build together. This is a partnership built on shared values, real expertise and genuine ambition and that combination is a powerful thing.

“Ray White’s strength has always come from backing people who want to lead, grow and set the standard in their markets. These three do all of that, and we are very proud to support them.”

Anthony Cavallaro, whose leadership has guided the Ray White office for the past 12 years, will continue in the business, ensuring a successful and smooth leadership transition.

With Beryl at the helm, the business enters its next era, backed by experience, commercial rigour and an ownership team with a shared vision for what comes next.
