A short-term letting platform has set sights on agents, launching a software platform aimed at allowing properties waiting for rent or sale to be short-term leased by agents.
Lavanda AGENT will allow agents to offer clients a money making option while their home is either waiting to be sold or without tenants. The minimum stay on the platform is two nights.
Lavanda offers a separate service which acts as a property management platform for people looking to rent their home short-term via Airbnb.
Although Lavanda AGENT hasn’t fully rolled out across the UK market yet, it already has secured backing from Purplebricks co-founder Kenny Bruce, Rightmove founder Harry Hill and former Tesco chief executive, Sir Terry Leahy.
The platform has already secured some partnership with agencies and management platforms but is aiming to partner with agencies in major UK cities including London, Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, Brighton, Bristol, York, Leeds, Edinburgh and Dublin.
Lavanda AGENT will offer agents industry data and analytics providing a real-time valuation of a property’s earning potential.
The platform will allow agents to offer a 100 per cent compliant short-term letting service which will include property styling and furnishing, housekeeping, tenant vetting, managed viewings and comprehensive insurance.
Lavanda’s platform aimed at homeowners has already had success, being named the ‘Best Short-term Rental Platform/Operator’ at the 2018 International Serviced Apartment Awards. The platform is hoping to extend their reach through agency partnerships with Lavanda AGENT.
