Michael Jacksonโs only daughter, Paris Jackson has sold the first house she ever owned and is relocating to the Hollywood Hills, after purchasing a US$3.8 million cabin.
According to The Dirt, the singer, actress, and model sold her first home for US$2.3 million, which was located in the mountains of Topanga Canyon in the rugged hills between Malibu and the San Fernando Valley.
Jacksonโs new Hollywood Hills estate has a long history of celebrity ownership having once been owned by Rock Hudson, before being sold to Canadian singer K.D. Lang, who then sold the property to Maroon 5 keyboardist Jesse Carmichael in 2012.
The estate is virtually invisible behind walls and gates, however, the cabin-style house includes three bedrooms and two full bathrooms in about 280sq m of living space.
Thereโs also a detached garage thatโs been converted into a music studio by one of the previous singer-songwriter owners as well as a small art studio.
The two-level homeโs main floor includes a movie theatre, a kitchen with redwood cabinets and heated slate floors, two guest bedrooms, and a two-way stone fireplace that warms both the living and dining rooms.
French doors open to a wooden deck with views over the canyon below.
The primary bedroom suite takes up the entire lower level and is packed with amenities such as a fireplace, sitting area, bespoke dressing room and closet and a renovated bathroom with dual vanities and a soaking tub.
Outside, the forested grounds also boast a saltwater pool and spa, plus a freestanding sauna and romantic gardens linked by meandering pathways.
Last month, Paris’s aunt, Janet Jackson listed her Central Park apartment for US$8.995 million.
