For the first time outside of the United States, six RE/MAX franchisees will meet as the Global Franchise Forum (GFF) at the RE/MAX Asia Pacific Convention on the Gold Coast at the end of this month, with their goal to bring information from the 100-plus countries in the RE/MAX network.
RE/MAX Australia and RE/MAX New Zealand Managing Director, Michael Davoren, is one of the six GFF Advocates chosen by Larry Oberly, Vice President, Global Development, RE/MAX LLC, to offer input to RE/MAX in technology, brand marketing, network growth, agent recruitment and retention, education and training, and industry trends.
His fellow GFF advocates are Dario Castiglia, RE/MAX Italy; Sebastian Sosa, RE/MAX Argentina and Uruguay; Bernard Raskin, RE/MAX Israel; and Adrian Goslett and Vicky Goslett, RE/MAX Southern Africa.
โMy charter is โindustry trends and legislationโ,โ said Mr Davoren, โand each of us is charged with a role to become the link between the global network and our global franchiser, RE/MAX LLC, to facilitate a two-way flow of information.โ
The GFF will convene on 2 September at Sheraton Mirage, Gold Coast.
Mr Oberly said, โInitiating the GFF is something I truly believe will have a great benefit to our global network, and to our global customers.โ
โEach GFF advocate has put together a group of experts from around the world,โ said Mr Davoren, โand my franchisee peers have given our Australian/New Zealand network the call through Richard Hoffman (technology), Aimee Doherty (marketing) and Joel Davoren (franchise growth).โ
