LJ Hooker expands national growth team

Steve Mutton and David Holmes announced as key appointments this month

Steve Mutton joins LJ Hooker as its Queensland Development Manager, bringing with him growth and franchise leadership having owned six Ray White agencies on the Gold Coast. Mr Mutton is tasked with growing the brand’s Queensland network in emerging markets from Coolangatta to Cairns.

Auctioneer David Holmes has also been appointed as LJ Hooker’s National Auctions Manager and will oversee LJ Hooker’s new National Auction Services, offering customers highly trained accredited auctioneers to deliver premium results for sellers.

The additions follow the appointment of industry veteran Jason Rose earlier this month as LJ Hooker’s National Growth Coach.

LJ Hooker Network Chief Graeme Hyde welcomed the expansion of the team.

“Steve’s background spans the spectrum of property from residential sales to property development, auctioneering, training and as a franchise owner,” said Mr Hyde.

“While he’s carved a very successful career in South-East Queensland, his connections and understanding of the wider state – as well as his experience running his own businesses – place him well to lead LJ Hooker’s network growth throughout Queensland: it is definitely a growth market.

“David is a seasoned auctioneer who’s enjoyed a career across much of the eastern seaboard and won numerous industry awards. He has recently headed-up his own business, Metro Auctions, and he will be central to the development of our auction capabilities around Australia. We will utilise his mentoring skills for training and resources to ensure a holistic level of customer service for our auction campaigns as well as our overall sales training.

“We are looking forward to tapping into both the expertise and experiences of Stephen and David,” he said.
