Harcourts South Australia and Harcourts Victoria have announced the appointment of James Aubert as their new Performance Coach, bringing with him a unique combination of real estate experience, relationship-focused leadership and a genuine passion for helping others achieve their full potential.
James joins the role with a reputation built on integrity, sincerity and an unwavering commitment to people. Known for his calm and considered approach, he has earned the trust of both clients and colleagues throughout his real estate career by placing the needs of others at the centre of every interaction.
For James, success has always been about service.
“Every transaction is always about the customer,” he said. “The vendor is the driver, and the agent is the passenger who’s there to guide, educate and provide the best service possible.”
As Performance Coach, James will work closely with Harcourts SA/VIC business owners and sales professionals to support performance growth, strengthen capability and help individuals build sustainable, rewarding careers in real estate.
CEO of Harcourts South Australia, Heather Edwards, said James’ appointment reflected the organisation’s commitment to investing in people and providing its network with exceptional support.
“James brings a genuine passion for helping others succeed,” Heather said.
“He leads with integrity, listens deeply and has an innate ability to connect with people. Those qualities make him an outstanding coach and mentor, and we’re thrilled to welcome him into this important role.”
CEO of Harcourts Victoria, Adam Fiteni, said James possessed the qualities needed to help agents thrive in an increasingly competitive environment.
“James understands that high performance is about more than numbers – it’s about mindset, consistency and building strong relationships,” Adam said.
“His authenticity and genuine desire to see others succeed make him a fantastic addition to our leadership team, and we’re excited to see the impact he’ll have across both Victoria and South Australia.”
Having specialised in Adelaide’s northern suburbs throughout his sales career, James has developed an intimate understanding of the communities he serves and the people who call them home. His local knowledge, coupled with his authentic and relationship-driven approach, has been a hallmark of his success.
Before entering real estate, James studied a Bachelor of Psychological Science at the University of Adelaide, developing a strong foundation in communication, behavioural understanding and emotional intelligence – skills that continue to shape his approach to leadership and coaching today.
Megan Hampton, Harcourts Learning and Development Operations Manager, said James’ ability to build meaningful relationships and inspire others made him a natural fit for the role.
“At Harcourts, we believe great performance starts with great people,” Megan said.
“James embodies our values through the way he supports others, shares his knowledge and genuinely invests in the success of those around him. He understands that high performance isn’t just about results – it’s about people, mindset and creating an environment where others can thrive.”
James said he was excited by the opportunity to give back to an industry that had given him so much.
“Real estate is ultimately a people business,” he said.
“I’ve always believed that listening is one of the most powerful skills we can develop. I’m looking forward to working alongside our people across South Australia and Victoria, helping them build confidence, strengthen their skills and achieve outcomes they may not have thought possible.”
