Stone Real Estate has appointed experienced industry leader Graeme Hyde to its corporate team as Chief Performance Officer.
Starting in the role today, Mr Hyde said he was excited to join the expanding network, which would see him entrusted with helping agents, property managers and agencies to grow both personally and in a business sense.
“The role is all encompassing, it’s helping everyone with their growth,” Mr Hyde said.
“It’s growth for salespeople, it’s growth for property managers, growth for admin support people and it’s growth for business owners.
“It’s also about growth for the overall franchise group and being able to add significant value in the offer of franchising.”
With close to 30 years experience in real estate, Mr Hyde brings with him a wealth of knowledge he has acquired as the former network chief of a major franchise group and as a former franchise owner of multiple award-winning offices.
During his tenure as a selling agent, he also ranked in the top five agents in his group at an international level.
Mr Hyde said his mantra in real estate had always been a simple but effective one.
“If you care more about people than you do about money, then you’ll never have to worry about money in real estate,” he said.
He said his new role would see him put Stone’s team members first and it was his goal to help them achieve their goals.
“Each one of our individual business owners, salespeople, property managers and support staff get up every single day and they’ve got families to feed and bills to pay,” Mr Hyde said.
“So they rely, very much, on the decisions that are made by the corporate team.
“What drives me to get up every day is being able to add value to those people’s lives and being able to help them to be better today than they were yesterday.”
Mr Hyde said rather than being nervous to start his new role, he was excited and looking forward to learning and immersing himself in Stone’s value proposition and getting a full understanding of where the opportunities lie within the network.
“They’ve got a very fresh approach and a very agile approach in their business,” he said.
“And one of the really great things, which really attracted me to Stone, was that they are a like-minded bunch of real estate professionals that really put people first.”
