Gavin Rubinstein, a number one salesperson in the Ray White Group for the past six years, is set to open a Ray White office on Queen Street, Woollahra as of 1 June, 2019.
The location is in one of the most prestigious pockets in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.
Mr Rubinstein has been part of the leading Ray White Double Bay office for the past nine years, and announced his departure two weeks ago.
Dan White, managing director of the Ray White Group, said the future of the company and its brand is underpinned by the success of the people who work within it.
โGavin has been an extremely hard working and successful member of our group for over nine years, and his desire to stay with our group is a huge endorsement for everyone in it,โ Mr White said.
โWhile the new business will be the second office to operate in one suburb, a highly unusual situation for us, the existing owner of Ray White Woollahra, Randall Kemp, and Gavin have developed a strategic plan for the two businesses to work collaboratively, to tackle two distinct trade areas.
โWe look forward to supporting both Gavin and Randall as they work together for the benefit of their teams and their customers.โ
Mr Rubinstein said the move was the natural next step for his evolving team.
โI am fortunate to work with an amazing group of people, all of whom will be joining me in the new business. This is the next chapter for us – one where we get to level up and improve our customer outcomes even further.
โI started my real estate career at Ray White when I was 20 years old as an assistant, and have worked hard to grow my business from strength to strength. We are so excited to have a new headquarters for our team, The Rubinstein Group.โ
Mr Kemp’s energy remains fixed on building his office’s local market share in Woollahra with his expanding team.
โGavin will continue his work in the broader eastern suburbs region beyond Woollahra, however thereโs no doubt his team will bring focus to Ray Whiteโs local presence in the area.โ
Ray White NSW Blue chief executive officer Jason Andrew said while itโs not uncommon for Ray White agents to move from a successful sales career into business ownership, the best case scenario was when that happens within the brand and with the support of surrounding business owners.
โAs one of the industryโs leading figures, Gavin no doubt would have been courted by many different groups.
“His long-term commitment to the Ray White Group is demonstrable proof that our service offering provides immense value.โ
