Domain has ushered a in a new era, with the appointment of Jason Chuck as the Group’s new Chief Customer Officer.

Chuck previously held positions as the Head of Marketing at Google and CEO of LJ Hooker Avnu, a role he told Mumbrella he found hard to leave behind.

“I decided to take up this new role at Domain, as I was attracted by the opportunity to jump back to my roots and build large scale, consumer facing businesses,” he said.

Chuck also has some experience at Google on his resume, with a cross-over in timing with current Domain Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Jason Pellegrino.

While this role is a newly created role it will absorb the duties of Domain’s former chief marketing officer, Melina Cruickshank.

The news came after Monday’s share price hit, following a downgrade by Macquarie Wealth Management.

On Monday, Domain shares closed at $2.83, down from $3.05 on Friday (down 7.2 per cent).

Domain shares yesterday closed slightly lower at $2.78.
