REA Group has announced on Saturday that Melina Cruickshank has been appointed to the role of Chief Marketing & Content Officer; taking a place as part of REA Groupโs Executive Leadership Team reporting to CEOย Tracey Fellows.
Spending four years as Chief Marketing and Content Officer of Domain, the move comes days before Nine takes full control of Fairfax Media, which owns 60% of Domain.
During her time at Domain, Ms Cruickshank gave us a number of brilliant web series, such as Avalon Now, and The Circle.
Commenting on the appointment, REA Group CEO Tracey Fellows said, โMelina was the standout candidate and Iโm delighted she has agreed to join us.
“She is passionate about this sector and has a track record of success leading teams and growing product and content revenue streams in Australia and abroad.
“Melina will drive our global marketing and content strategy, working with our talented teams in Australia and around the globe.”
Ms Cruickshank said of the announcement, โIt is difficult to leave Domain. Iโve enjoyed my time here and am grateful for the opportunities Iโve been given.
