Exceeding expectations: Toowoomba team joins First National

Even after 31 years in real estate, Andrew Lynch still believes in the one-percenters.

In fact, it’s that philosophy of going above and beyond for his clients that has seen he and his 15-member team rebrand to become Toowoomba Property First National Real Estate.

“First National just ticks every box that I was looking for,” he said.

Mr Lynch said his “total care” approach to every client matched perfectly with First National’s “We put you first” promise and it’s that ethos that will form the backbone of the rebrand.

“In property management, our client is obviously the investor but our property managers treat the tenants (the same).

“We put them first as well.

“We treat everyone with respect and that’s why people that have rented with us, when they become landlords, they give us their properties to manage.”

Mr Lynch said the team helped to exceed clients’ expectations by doing the basics well and adding personalised touches wherever they could.

When it’s time for a routine inspection the property managers will film a short video message at the front of the property to send to the landlord, followed by sending through the detailed written report.

They also call the landlords before the inspection to check if there’s anything specific they’d like them to view or take care of.

“It’s like our Christmas cards, the property managers write an individual message to each client and they are hand signed by all of us,” Mr Lynch said.

Mr Lynch said the same ethos applied in the sales department.

“It’s not about giving them (clients) a gift of a chopping board and a bottle of champagne, it’s about the extra service, making sure that everything is right, that everything is connected and that you’ve made sure everything is OK,” he said.

“It’s the service that’s the secret.”

As well as First National’s service driven culture appealing, Mr Lynch said the team would benefit from being part of the larger, supportive network, with industry-leading marketing technology, and exceptional training and resources.

He said his agency was currently in a growth phase and looking to add an additional three sales agents, another property manager and admin staff to the team.

“We are in recruitment mode and looking to get up around 20 (team members),” Mr Lynch noted.

“At a time when we’re recruiting quality staff, this change signifies our commitment to growth and excellence.

“Being part of First National Real Estate empowers us with extensive support and training opportunities, enabling us to offer unparalleled service to our clients.

“It’s about securing financial freedom for families and investors, and sharing in the joy and excitement of first-time buyers.”

Mr Lynch said he was looking forward to growing his business under the First National banner, particularly as the Toowoomba market was particularly buoyant at the moment.

“The price increase between November to now has just been staggering,” he said.

“The shortage of stock is incredible.”

“A lot of our sales now are in excess of $600,000.”
