Emily Blunt and John Krasinski’s Hollywood Hills home back on the market

The former Hollywood Hills home of celebrity couple Emily Blunt and John Krasinski is back on the market and up for grabs for US$6 million.

The famous pair acquired the mid-century modern residence in the Hollywood Hills In 2014 for US$2.57 million, before renovating and eventually selling it in 2016 for US$3.5 million, according to Forbes.

Nestled above Mulholland Drive on a secluded cul-de-sac and concealed by towering trees, the house was constructed in 1965 and boasts a pristine, contemporary appearance.

The property spans more than a third of an acre across a double lot, featuring a spacious flagstone patio partially sheltered, a fountain, comprehensive landscape lighting, a gazebo, a saltwater pool, lush green lawns, topiaries, and breathtaking panoramas of the mountains, canyon and cityscape.

One of the hallmarks of the property are the majestic oak and olive trees, some of which seem to predate the 58-year-old home.

Inside the 340sq m home, there are glass walls and motorised skylights, as well as retractable blinds that let in the radiant Southern California sunlight.

An impressive entryway welcomes guests into the classic open-concept layout, that includes hardwood floors throughout.

The sunken living room boasts a gas fireplace and beamed ceiling, while the dining room mirrors the outdoor scenery.

Additional features include a courtyard, indoor and outdoor speakers, security cameras, a study, and a gourmet kitchen outfitted with custom cabinetry, a vibrant island, a Subzero refrigerator and wine cooler, a Wolf range and dual Miele dishwashers.

The home also offers four bathrooms, one of which is a marble-adorned ensuite with a soaking tub and steam shower.
