Bradley Cooper’s bungalow could be yours

Hollywood actor Bradley Cooper is selling his first-ever purchased property, a 146sq m bungalow in the celebrity-favourite Venice Beach, California.

Cooper bought the two-bedroom, two-bathroom estate for US$1.2 million in December 2004 and has now put it on the market for US$2.4 million.

The interiors of the bungalow have been redesigned in collaboration with designer Santillana de Chanaleilles to reflect a raw, natural aesthetic.

The great room, which is an open space blending the living and dining area with the kitchen, is the first thing guests see when they enter the home.

The designers used reclaimed wood for the ceilings and concrete for the flooring, while the large breakfast bar, illuminated by overhanging pendant lighting, creates a cozy ambiance.

The living room features a fireplace set into the far wall, and large French doors open up to the backyard oasis, complete with a fire pit, built-in barbecue, hot tub, and a dining setup.

Upstairs, the primary bedroom suite boasts louver door closets, and the spa-like bathroom has terra cotta tiles, a black metal-framed shower and a luxurious clawfoot bathtub.

The A Star Is Born actor also converted the garage into a bonus space with high vaulted ceilings and black accordion doors that lead out to the lush garden.

The bungalow, wrapped in vines and dripping wisteria, provides a secluded and ample space for private entertaining.

The property is being listed by Diana Braun at Compass, who praised its ideal mix of ample space and seclusion, perfect for hosting gatherings in the California sunshine.

The estate is located close to popular shopping and dining spots on the Westside.
