Betty White’s California homes are hot property

Two lovely properties owned by Golden Girl Betty White have hit the market with one selling in just two weeks.

According to Architectural Digest, White, who passed away just short of her 100th birthday on New Year’s Eve 2021, sold her beachside home in Carmel, California, and has now listed her main residence in the Brentwood neighbourhood of Los Angeles.

The three-quarters of an acre property was listed as a teardown, with only the exterior available for potential buyers to tour.

White used the property as her primary residence along with her husband Allen Ludden, having moved in during the 1960s.

The colonial-style, five-bedroom, six-bathroom house boasts bright yellow shutters, making the home perfectly suited to the sunny location, as does the swimming pool.

Her Carmel beachside home recently sold for US$10.775 million, $3 million above the asking price.

White used the 336sq m home more in recent years, which included four bedrooms, five bathrooms, and boasted sweeping ocean views.
