LJ Hooker has appointed Ayden Vojnic as Growth Manager, tasking him with expanding the network’s footprint across Western Australia, South Australia and the Northern Territory.
Ayden joins from Aussie Home Loans, where he held senior roles in recruitment and broker performance. He brings more than 15 years of experience across project management, enterprise sales, recruitment and stakeholder management.
He will focus on development and conversion opportunities as part of LJ Hooker’s Australian and New Zealand strategic growth team, reporting to Head of Growth Jarita Rayasam.
“New growth is where my passion lies, and both finance and real estate are very interrelated industries, so I am very excited about this new opportunity,” Ayden said.
“LJ Hooker has incredible brand recognition, and its market presence is a key driver in being able to recruit new business. It has such a strong reputation of trust, and the fact that it is a homegrown Australian-born enterprise also adds to the appeal.”
Jarita said Ayden’s background made him well placed to identify the right operators for the network.
“Ayden is known for building strong pipelines, improving processes and delivering results, which is integral for brand expansion in our targeted areas,” she said.
“Through his work with Aussie Home Loans, he knows what makes a successful franchisee and can identify candidates who align with our values, culture and business model.”
Jarita said attracting the right operators into the right markets remained a priority for the network.
“We’re backing that growth with practical support, proven systems and targeted investment, so our franchisees can win locally and deliver consistently great customer outcomes,” she said.
Having grown up in Port Lincoln before moving to Adelaide, and with experience establishing offices for Aussie Home Loans across Western Australia, Ayden said recruitment needed to be tailored to each market.
“It is about understanding the markets, the differences and doing research on the individual catchment areas before pitching,” he said.
Ayden’s connection to the brand predates his new role – his first experience with LJ Hooker was leasing a rental property as a university student.
“They provided my first stability and basis as an adult, and I remember putting up a post on Facebook, saying, ‘Yes, LJ Hooker, you are the best, you have given me a place to live’,” he said.
“Now it has come full circle, and I am working for them, which is an exciting opportunity.”
The appointment comes as LJ Hooker pursues a franchise uplift in the lead-up to its 100th anniversary.
