One year after the passing of actress Shannen Doherty, her beloved Malibu estate has officially hit the market with an asking price of US $9.5 million (approx. AU $14.25 million).

Shannen, best known for her roles in Beverly Hills, 90210 and Charmed, died in July 2024 at age 53 following a long battle with breast cancer. Her close friend and longtime real estate advisor, Chris Cortazzo of Compass, is handling the listing.

“She fell in love with this home the moment she saw it,” Chris said in a statement.

“It had everything she wanted, privacy, ocean views, a lush hedge to create peace, and a layout that reflected her love for connection and entertaining.”

Located just minutes from Malibu’s iconic beaches, the 5,360-square-foot residence offers three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and open-plan living areas designed for seamless indoor-outdoor living.

The primary suite is a haven of texture and tranquility, with a romantic canopy bed, hand-finished plaster walls, and direct access to the pool deck. Image: Chris Cortazzo

The great room features beamed ceilings, antique doors, and retractable glass walls that open onto manicured lawns and a sleek lap pool.

Originally purchased by Doherty in 2004 for US $2.56 million, People reported the home has been meticulously updated over the years with her personal touch.

The gourmet kitchen includes a stone island with bar seating, custom cabinetry, and a blend of rustic finishes and modern convenience.
