Ray White has appointed Thomas McGlynn to a newly created position of CEO – Performance and Value, a role designed to strengthen leadership capability and business performance across the network’s Australian and New Zealand membership.

Most recently, he spent six years as CEO and Partner of the Bresic Whitney Group, one of Sydney’s most successful independent real estate businesses.

He is currently President of the Real Estate Institute of New South Wales and has worked across most Australian markets with national groups and independents in both corporate and operating roles.

Ray White Group managing director Dan White said the appointment reflects the network’s focus on leadership development.

“He thinks deeply about leadership, professional standards and what it takes to build a great business,” Dan said.

“These things are fundamental to our ambition and value offering to our members.”

For Thomas, the move represents an opportunity to apply his focus on professional standards at network scale.

“Over the course of my career, one thing has become clear: leadership is the defining difference between good businesses and great ones,” he said.

“To have the opportunity to help shape that across the most influential real estate network in Australasia is incredibly compelling.”

Thomas pointed to the broader implications of the role.

“When you lift leadership capability across a network of this scale, the impact goes far beyond one business. It shapes thousands of careers and helps define where the industry goes next.”
