View Media Group buys The Property Agency

View Media Group (VMG) has acquired property communications agency, The Property Agency, as part of a wider growth plan focused on moving beyond the traditional listings model.

VMG Executive Chairman, Antony Catalano, said the acquisition would allow the group to provide a holistic creative services experience for developers and project marketers.

โ€œWe are thrilled to welcome founder Bob St. Julian, managing partner Carl Mogridge and the entire team at TPA to the VMG family,โ€ he said.

โ€œIโ€™ve been working with the team for many years and could not speak more highly of them as operators and the quality of the work they produce.

โ€œWe now complete our full service communications offering for developers & project marketers, adding creative services through TPA to the market-leading strategy, planning and performance media buying services offered by Today Media (formerly The Today Business).โ€

Mr Catalano said this would make things easier for clients, with a single brief covering both creative and media, which will drive better alignment of the response to clients and ease of execution in the market.

โ€œVMG continues to grow and acquire businesses that will assist us in delivering real value for clients through the property ecosystem we are building,โ€ he said.

โ€œVMG is moving beyond the traditional listings model and becoming a true property marketplace that enables consumers and businesses to transact along the full property journey for life.โ€

TPA was formed in 2004 and has since grown to 35 staff in Sydney and Brisbane.

TPA specialises in creative services for the property category with a focus on strategy, branding & advertising campaigns across multiple touch points for off-the-plan developments.

TPA founder Bob St. Julian said aligning with VMG would take the agency into the future.

โ€œVMG will connect our brilliant ideas, stories and experiences to property buyers like never before,โ€ he said.

โ€œIt ensures The Property Agency remains at the forefront of property marketing, supporting our clients to create Australiaโ€™s most famous places to live, work and play.โ€

Mr Catalano said adding TPA to the VMG Developer offering completes VMGโ€™s plan to deliver a full end-to-end offering for off-the plan developments including creative services via TPA, Media services via Today Media, stock and channel management through Development ID, display suite solutions through Showcase and the dedicated portal for off-the-plan buyers and sellers Apartments & Developments.
