Cooley Auctions and Youth Off The Streets are calling on the real estate industry to brave the winter chill and take part in the 2019 Real Estate Sleep Out on Monday, 19 August.
Now in its fourth year, Real Estate Sleep Out raises money and awareness for Father Chris Riley’s Youth Off The Streets. The event has expanded interstate since the inaugural sleep out in 2016 and this year there are four sleep out locations across three states;
– Bondi Beach, NSW
– Port Macquarie, NSW
– Sunshine Coast, QLD
– Yarrawonga, VIC
Anyone associated with the real estate industry is encouraged to get involved in Real Estate Sleep Out to support the work that Youth Off The Streets does for disadvantaged youth. In Australia 44,000 young people sleep rough every night. The sleep out event gives participants a confronting experience of that reality.
In the lead-up to the event, participants fundraise through individual supporter pages and all money raised will help Youth Off The Streets make a real difference to the lives of the young people their services cater for and ultimately, offer them a second chance at a better future.
For the $55 registration fee participants will receive dinner and breakfast, a Real Estate Sleep Out beanie and a cardboard box to sleep on for the night.
