Scott Dolce has joined Belle Property, Hockingstuart and Acton | Belle Property as Academy Manager, Trainer and Coach, bringing almost two decades of experience across sales, property management, BDM, leadership and business ownership to the role.
Scott has worked across virtually every facet of the industry, from leasing consultant through to principal.
“I’ve been fortunate to experience almost every role in real estate over the past 20 years,” Scott said.
“I’ve built businesses, grown rent rolls and worked across sales, property management, BDM and leadership. At this stage of my career, I genuinely believe it’s my time to give back to the industry by helping other people grow.”
After stepping away from agency ownership and completing a Bachelor of Business, Scott moved into the PropTech sector as Head of Customer Success for property software business PropertyMe, where he gained experience in technology, product development and customer strategy.
He had also planned to undertake an MBA specialising in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
The experience confirmed where his passion truly lay.
“I realised I genuinely missed real estate,” he said. “I’d spent almost 20 years in the industry and wanted to experience something different, but I found I missed working with people and helping them succeed.”
Scott said meeting Belle Property, Hockingstuart, Acton | Belle Property CEO Nick Boyd cemented his decision to join the network.
“When I met Nick Boyd, it really cemented the decision for me,” he said.
“It was his understanding of where the market is heading, his approach to leadership and technology, and his vision for the future of the business that stood out.
“As the industry changes, it’s important to align yourself with an organisation that’s prepared to evolve and invest in its people.”
In his new role, Scott will work across sales, property management, BDM and leadership, helping emerging professionals and experienced business owners navigate current market conditions.
He believes today’s market presents what he describes as one of the greatest opportunities the industry has seen in more than a decade.
“We haven’t experienced conditions like this for around 15 years,” he said.
“Strong markets can often hide weaknesses. Tough markets reward discipline. There is a huge opportunity right now for agents and business owners who are prepared to improve their skills, strengthen their processes and focus on consistent execution.
“Those are the people who will grow market share now and be exceptionally well positioned when conditions strengthen again.”
Scott is equally focused on building resilience and supporting the wellbeing of real estate professionals.
“Real estate is a mental game as much as anything else,” he said.
“People need practical frameworks, accountability and confidence. Sometimes they simply need someone to remind them to keep going because every challenge eventually passes. If we can help people become better professionals while also building rewarding, long-term careers, then we’ve done our job.”
Nick Boyd said Scott’s appointment reflects the network’s ongoing investment in education and professional development.
“Scott brings an exceptional combination of practical industry experience, business leadership and a genuine passion for developing people,” Nick said.
“Scott is a real estate triple threat. He’s built a reputation as a high-performing BDM with proven success growing rent rolls, while also leading successful sales teams and property management businesses.
“That breadth of experience makes him uniquely placed to coach and develop our people.”
Nick added that developing people has always been one of the network’s defining strengths, and that Scott’s appointment reflects the network’s commitment to equipping its people with the knowledge, skills and leadership needed to succeed regardless of market conditions.
The Academy supports more than 215 offices nationally and comprises a team of eight dedicated learning and coaching specialists delivering education, coaching and leadership development across every stage of an agent’s career, from onboarding and foundational training through to sales performance, BDM, property management and leadership.
Scott said his ambition for the role comes down to one sentence.
“If I could sum this role up in one sentence, it’s this: I want to help shape the future of the real estate industry,” he said.
“If someone chooses real estate as a career, they should have access to the coaching, structure and support that allows them to build a successful business and a great life. That’s what excites me most about this opportunity.”
