Rockstars and politicians head the lineup at Ray White’s Connect 2018

This year’s Connect 2018 conference is shaping up to be bigger and better than ever.

Up to 3000 agents and brokers are expected to arrive on the Gold Coast for Connect 2018 on August 13 and 14, bringing together the strength of the White family businesses of Ray White, Loan Market, Wealth Market, Home Now, Living Here, White & Partners and Concierge.

Ray White Group director Dan White said no other agency group in Australasia could possibly compare to the scale and size of the total group, ensuring Connect 2018 was in a class of its own.

“We will celebrate the breadth and depth of our group at Connect and along the way inspire our members with some of the world’s best speakers,” Mr White said.

“Ours is not a typical real estate or finance conference as we have sought out the best and brightest speakers from their various fields to showcase for our members. We want our members to be their best self and to learn from leaders in all fields.

“We have musicians, leaders in the field of artificial intelligence, an Olympian and even one of the world’s best known photographers who has photographed many world leaders.

“We often say that if you want to go fast, go alone but if you want to go far, lets go together.”

The company’s in-house events team, W Concepts, have created a jam-packed program that will be sure to inspire, entertain and offer insights that you cannot get anywhere else.

One of the first speakers the lucky delegates will get to hear from is Mark Schulman – better known as the American singer Pink’s drummer.

W Concepts have managed to secure Mr Schulman as he’ll be in Brisbane as part of Pink’s Beautiful Trauma World Tour.

Delegates will be treated to the celebrity drummer’s legendary skills plus insights as a sought-after motivational speaker.

“I am so excited to bring Ray White and Loan Market my rock show disguised as a keynote and when I come to present for you I will be your own personal rockstar at your service,” Mr Schulman said.

“I will share with you my greatest hits of information, in the form of stories, performances and business relevant content that you can use to supercharge your attitude and your experiences in your professional and personal lives.”

Connect 2018 kicks off on Monday August 13 with an opening address by the Hon John Howard OM AC who served as the Prime Minister of Australia between 1996 and 2007.

Whether you love or loathe him, since his prime-ministership ended over 11 years ago, Mr Howard has stayed firmly in the headlines.

He was lauded internationally for his stance on gun control following the Port Arthur massacre.

He influenced major economic reform after backflipping on his decision to introduce the GST, he was once described by George W Bush as “a man of steel” and he recently caused a stir for calling on the Liberal Party to “get their act together.”

He is the nation’s second longest serving Prime Minister and was a member of Parliament for more than 30 years.

Registration for Connect 2018 will close on July 31, so don’t delay in securing your seat.

There are two full days of conference, packed with inspiring speakers and specialist breakout sessions covering all areas of our businesses.

The conference includes all lunches plus an epic after party to rival all that have gone before.
