RE/MAX real estate network follows global growth path

RE/MAX Australia expanded its national footprint with the addition of 19 offices since the start of 2016.

RE/MAX opened in Caufield in Victoria; Kingston in the ACT; Byron Bay, Parramatta, Minchinbury, Pyrmont and Lidcombe in New South Wales; and Mackay, Ipswich, Wamuran, Ningi, Crows Nest, Graceville, River Hills, Indooroopilly, Milton, Coopers Plains, Sunnybank Hills and Brisbane CBD in Queensland.

“It’s exciting to see the network continue to grow across the country at such a rapid pace,” said Franchise Director Joel Davoren.

An office opening in Melbourne’s western suburbs is imminent, with an announcement expected by the end of this month.

Mr Davoren said, “Growth in both agent count and office numbers is accelerating because real estate agents and business owners are looking for genuine freedom, flexibility and opportunity to build their business and increase profitability.”

He said that RE/MAX not only encouraged its business owners to be entrepreneurial but also their agents.

“The agent-centric business model attracts top producers so business owners can build strong teams of quality agents who can run their own business should they wish.

“Productive agents not only want to affiliate with a brand that supports their efforts, they want to affiliate with a brand that provides high commission splits that remunerate them appropriately.

“The crux of the RE/MAX offer is flexibility to run your own business within a global network of more than 7000 offices in over 100 countries and access the tools, resources and support that comes with it.

“With RE/MAX you take control, build your own business asset and secure your future while having a global brand, the world’s most productive, as your foundation.

“We have a saying that is fundamental to RE/MAX: Your life. Your business. Your way.” he said, “and our continued growth is rooted in the marketing support, management systems, networking and referral opportunities, and the professional development programs that we provide for new affiliates to help them maximise their own local real estate business.”

Mr Davoren has recently returned from the international RE/MAX R4 Convention in Las Vegas, an annual event attended by more than 6500, where RE/MAX Australia and RE/MAX New Zealand were two of six regions nominated this year for the RE/MAX Global Region of the Year award

“To be a finalist – for both Australia and New Zealand to be finalists – is in itself is a huge honour and recognition. It reflects a team’s hard work.

“The Directors are certainly proud to be nominated but even more proud of the accomplishments we have made to-date and what we plan to accomplish.

“2016 was a big year for all of us and 2017 will be even bigger. The Caribbean and Central America region won based on last year activity, but it could well be us announced as winner in 2018,” Mr Davoren said.
