Ray White has welcomed award-winning auctioneer Gavin Croft back to the group with open arms, as chief auctioneer for Queensland.
Ray White Queensland CEO Jason Andrew labelled Brisbane-based Gavin Croft as “one of the finest auctioneers in the country”.
“After being appointed as the chief operating officer of Ray White New Zealand in early 2020, COVID impacted Gavin and his family dramatically and his move to New Zealand was cut short based on the fact he could not get back into the country after the first lockdown,” Mr Andrew said.
“The chief auctioneer for Ray White Queensland is one of the most sought after positions within our industry. Gavin is the perfect man for the role. Dan White and I have been keen to find the right role for Gavin to ensure his future was with our group.”
Mr Croft has 15 years’ experience in the real estate industry as a salesperson, auctioneer, business owner and state manager for some of Australasia’s leading brands.
Throughout his career, he has overseen more than 15,000 property transactions but he has a keen strategic interest in bettering the consumer experience.
His devotion to his craft has seen Mr Croft win both awards and the admiration of his peers across all levels, including winning REINSW Auctioneer of the Year twice as well as the REIQ Auctioneer of the Year.
His deep industry knowledge and insights has seen Gavin work in the sophisticated Sydney, Auckland and Queensland property markets.
Reflecting on his appointment, Mr Croft said he was thrilled to be rejoining the Ray White Group again after a false start last year.
“The auction culture is strong in Queensland and I have been working with many of the top offices already in the group, so I am looking forward to bringing my experience into the Queensland network as a whole.”
He highlighted leadership in the areas of growth, recruitment, auctions, market share and lead generation as the pivotal focus point.
Mr Croft will commence his new role on Monday June 28, 2021.
