Tiera Butkus has joined Apollo Auctions’ South East Queensland team after several months training through the Apollo Auctions Academy.
Tiera was a finalist for the 2026 REIQ Auctioneer of the Year award and Apollo Auctions Director Justin Nickerson said Tiera’s progression from the Academy into the team was an exciting outcome.
“The Academy gives passionate auctioneers the opportunity to develop their skills, challenge themselves and learn alongside experienced operators,” Justin said.
“Over the past few months, we’ve had the opportunity to get to know Tiera and see her commitment to improving her craft. Having her choose to take the next step with Apollo is something we’re really pleased about.
“She brings valuable experience in agent development and understands that successful auctions start well before auction day. That approach fits naturally with our team.”
Tiera will work with agents and their clients across South East Queensland, supporting campaign preparation, auction strategy, auction-day delivery and negotiations.
Tiera, speaking to Elite Agent, said her time in the Academy had reinforced her decision to join Apollo.
“Being part of the Apollo Academy over the past few months has given me the opportunity to learn from people I respect, challenge myself and get to know the team,” Tiera said.
“Joining Apollo felt like a natural next step. I’m excited to continue developing alongside the team and bring that experience to the agents and clients I work with.
“For me, great auctioneering is about building relationships, creating competition and giving people confidence throughout the entire campaign,” she said.
