When he started in real estate five years ago as a personal assistant, Fergus Torpy had no intention of making a career out of it.
Fast forward to 2018 and Mr Torpy’s not only been confidently leading the sales team at Ray White Warrnambool for several years but is now excited to step into his new role as a partner of the business.
Mr Torpy said he’s had a great mentor in principal Jess Densley which gave him the confidence he needed to succeed.
“I took this step because of Jess,” Mr Torpy said.
“The people and culture of a business make a huge difference and the team here are young and dynamic…everyone is growing together.”
He said his success came down to motivation and discipline, combined with his laid back and positive style. His attitude led to him taking the big leap into a business partnership that he never dreamt possible.
Mr Densley said it was a natural progression to welcome Mr Torpy as a partner in the business after all he’d put into the team.
“Fergus developed really quickly because he’s so driven, energetic and knows how to get the best out of himself with a high level of consistency,’’ he said.
“What sets him apart are his service levels…nothing is ever too hard and he continues to blow his clients away with how he over delivers,” Mr Densley said.
