Ray White has announced their NSW and ACT award winners for 2021
The Announcement:
In these COVID-safe times, Ray White held yet another zoom awards for its New South Wales and ACT network this year, but it was no ordinary experience for the 1000 members watching on.
With interactive screens, CEO Andrew McCulloch took the members on a journey across the state for the 2021 awards to celebrate the success of the most extraordinary year in real estate.
“Last year we celebrated four personal best months and sold a combined total of more than $20 billion. We achieved personal best, after personal best and we’re here now to celebrate our businesses, agents, property managers and administrators,” Mr McCulloch said.
Ray White Managing Director Dan White labelled 2021 as an incredible year for the achievements across the group.
“Years of leadership, of building teams, of building capacity inside businesses, gave us the opportunity to grab hold of the momentum and deliver absolutely outstanding results for our customers,” Mr White said.
Chairman of Ray White, Brian White congratulated the NSW and ACT members for their dedication and determination to keep striving to be relevant to their communities.
“Nothing is more beneficial to a seller than to have competition for property. It changes all expectations of price and what that might be realised. This is our magic phrase. We create competition,” he said.
The state’s coveted Top Office Award also went to Ray White Upper North Shore and it was also awarded #1 Business Growth for their outstanding year. Co-owner Greg Windel was awarded the CEO’s Cup.
Mr Walker said the Top Principal Award and Top Office awards were “the sweetest of them all” to receive but full credit goes to the entire Upper North Shore team.
“It’s quite overwhelming but to be recognised in a year that has not been a normal year by any stretch with COVID-19 and the lockdown and restrictions. I was filled with joy to see our administrators win best Administration Team of The Year too as they work so hard,” he said.
“These awards are the reward for everyone who put in so much effort and it culminated in winning the awards against our peers who are truly the best in the business. Being at Ray White means you compete with the best and we all push each other to do better. There’s no point being the big fish in a small pond. You want to work with the best, and that is what makes all these awards really special,” Mr Walker said.
Amanda Bonnici of Ray White Shellharbour City won the Top Regional Principal in terms of settled commission and also number of sales too.
Ray White North Richmond sales agent Cindy Cash took home the award for Top City Salesperson in terms of commission in NSW & ACT for 2020-21, while Julie Gauci of Ray White Culburra Beach won Top Regional Salesperson in terms of commission.
Her office Ray White Nowra | Culburra Beach | Callala Bay won the Top Regional Office by number of sales and also Top Regional Office by settled commission, while the powerhouse Ray White Macarthur Group was once again awarded the Top City Office by number of sales.
In his first full year in business ownership the dynamic principal Josh Tesolin of Ray White Quakers Hill won the coveted award for Top Principal for number of sales both in NSW & ACT and also No 1 Internationally for number of sales, which is a huge achievement.
No one works harder than Josh Tesolin, who had signed up two more listings by 9am on the morning after the awards.
“I work seven days a week and I will be the first person to sign up 50 listings in a month. It’s me versus me, and I am a very competitive person and I set weekly and monthly goals,” Mr Tesolin said.
“I work in the west of Sydney without a beach or a bay in sight, just my favourite Lebanese chicken shop but I get a thrill out of seeing my team do so well. We are a young team, the average age in the office is 25, I am 26, but we have a high performance culture and we sell a heavy volume of stock,” he said.
“You pick up on each other’s energy and we are very collaborative. My numbers didn’t skip a beat during the lockdown either, where we had one on one inspections with the police watching us to make sure we all did the right thing.
“When you are up against adversity you choose to adapt and we only sell with serious buyers and sellers. There’s more stock but there are also more buyers too so the current year is shaping up.”
Elsewhere Kieron Stedman of Ray Castle Hill was awarded Top City Salesperson by number of sales, and number four in the international rankings. Stuart Sinclair of Ray White Hawks Nest was the Top Regional Salesperson by number of sales.
