Ray White team passes $265,000 raised for Giant Steps

Ray White Lower North Shore Group has passed $265,000 in total funds raised for Giant Steps, a charity supporting people living with autism and their families, after wrapping up the fourth edition of its 10KADAY campaign.

The challenge asks participants to walk 10,000 steps a day to raise money and awareness for Giant Steps, which operates without direct government funding and relies on community support to deliver its education and care programs.

Since the campaign began in 2023, the team has logged 89,112,998 steps between them.

Previous years raised $50,502 in the inaugural 2023 walk, $90,239 in 2024 and $75,042 in 2025, with this year’s campaign set to push past $50,000 as final major donations are confirmed.

Ray White Lower North Shore Group Director Richard Harding said the result reflected the commitment of everyone involved.

“Reaching over $265,000 raised and logging tens of millions of steps over four years is a testament to the incredible dedication of our community and team,” hesaid.

“Because Giant Steps relies entirely on public support to deliver their life-changing care and programs, knowing that every step we take directly funds their day-to-day operations makes every single stride worth it.”

Richard said every dollar raised goes directly towards the organisation’s daily operations, care programs and facility maintenance.

Client Services Manager Irena Allen topped the team’s leaderboard this year, logging 456,372 steps across the campaign – an average of more than 15,000 steps a day.
