People and property are the top priorities for new RE/MAX agent

When Tracey Catley joined the sales team at RE/MAX Xtra in Parramatta she brought with her a track record of integrity, relationship-building and successful outcomes.

It’s a diverse skillset honed across the pharmaceutical, retail, health and wellness sectors, which broker-owner Morris Short said had already proved a dynamic combination.

“Tracey is an exciting edition to an already great team,” Mr Short said.

“She has proved herself a high-achiever and an award-winner in whatever role she’s held, and real estate is no exception.

“In just six months, she established her reputation for being the go-to agent in her core area, Oatlands, where she set a new street record and achieved a median sale price that exceeded Oatlands’ median by $400,000.”

While Ms Catley sold more than $8 million in her first six months, her appetite for learning more about real estate sales and the industry she had joined was unsatisfied.

“I felt I could do better,” she said.

“I wanted to know just what I could achieve with solid training and mentoring.

“I was aware that Morris Short was very training focused and that RE/MAX had an extraordinary training and support program that is one of the most comprehensive in the industry, so I joined the team at RE/MAX Xtra.

“The RE/MAX culture is also the right fit, in sync with my client-focus and desire to deliver the best results for them along with an agent-focused philosophy that supports me in achieving my goals and building a profitable business.”

Ms Catley said her passion for real estate developed well before her move into the industry.

“I bought my first property in Sydney in 2009 after moving to Australia from New Zealand two years prior, eventually selling it for double what I paid, and I went on to buy a four-bedroom home in North Lakes, Queensland, as an investment property and a Parramatta apartment.”

These successful real estate transactions were based on her own market research and she said ‘an outcome of having a very analytical mind’.

“Having experienced property ownership, making savvy investments, financial profit and doubling my portfolio, I was certain real estate and helping others achieve the same was my future,” she said.

Ms Catley is recognised for the easy rapport she builds with people and her clients quickly discover her real estate passion extends to staging, photography, architecture and interior design.

Based in Parramatta, her market knowledge is comprehensive and first-hand of upper-end priced apartments, townhouses, villas and multi-million-dollar homes through Oatlands, Castle Hill, Baulkham Hills and Northmead.

“I am very happy that the opportunity to join Morris Short and the RE/MAX Xtra team, and become part of a world leader with a global footprint unmatched by any other real estate brand, arose,” Ms Catley said.

“I’m excited to share wonderful real estate experiences with my clients.”
