Only virtual tickets remaining for AREC 2021 as on-site allocation exhausted

It’s less than a week until AREC 2021 kicks off and organisers have reported that on-site tickets for the recent have now sold out.

Due to COVID-safe regulations, a total of 3000 tickets were available for this year’s conference, which will take place at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre on Sunday, May 30, and Monday, May 31.

Virtual tickets are still available via the AREC 2021 website

For the first time in its 23-year history, AREC will feature a program that combines three key industry-specific streams – residential sales, property management and mortgage broking.

Total Real Estate Training (TRET) General Manager Nichola Byrne, the organiser of AREC 2021, said the response to tickets proved people in the industry were craving in-person training and networking.

“There is definitely an excitement and anticipation from our delegates for face to face learning,” she said.

As Elite Agent has previously reported, this year’s event will feature 43 speakers from Australia and overseas.

The 2021 conference will also feature the highest proportion of Australian speakers on the line-up in the event’s history, including founder John McGrath, who will be delivering his first AREC keynote since 2014.

Journalist Lisa Wilkinson will be at the event to interview Australian supermodel, businesswoman and fashion icon Elle Macpherson via satellite about brand building.

Keynote speakers for AREC 2021 include New York Times bestselling author Ryan Holiday, champion aerial skier Jacqui Cooper, speaker and trainer Josh Phegan, and Shoes of Prey co-founder Jodie Fox.

Other industry experts set to appear include sales agents such as Stefon Bertram, Cathy Baker, Lisa Novak and Andrew Lutze, and property managers Fiona Blayney, Maria Milillo and Jamie Billerwell.

Ms Byrne said AREC 2021 delegates would inject about $3 million into the local Gold Coast economy.
