Grammy-winning singer Meghan Trainor has recently purchased DJ Zeddโs opulent mansion in Encino, Los Angeles, for just over US$17.1 million.
Following this acquisition, Trainor has listed her other San Fernando Valley home for nearly $12 million, with Justin P. Huchel of Carolwood Estates handling the sale, according to the Robb Report.
Trainor, famous for hits like Lips Are Moving and All About That Bass, and her husband, actor Daryl Sabara, bought the home from rapper TMG Fresh for US$6.6 million in late 2020.
The white stucco mansion, originally built in 1998 and fully renovated during Trainorโs ownership, is set behind tall gates and hedges and boasts six bedrooms and eight baths across approximately 1309sq m of multi-level living space.
Additionally, the property includes a two-storey detached guesthouse with a gym, bedroom, bath, kitchen, and living room.
The main level of the home features an impressive entry foyer with a double staircase, leading to two formal living rooms.
A fireside family room connects to a gourmet kitchen equipped with two islands, top-tier stainless appliances, and a dining area with sliding glass doors opening to the backyard.
This level also includes an office and a guest bedroom with its own bath.
Upstairs, five ensuite bedrooms include a luxurious master suite with custom glass doors opening to a fireside lounge with a private patio, two walk-in closets, and a lavish bath with dual vanities, a soaking tub, and a marble-clad shower.
The lower level features a recording studio with its own entrance, kitchenette, and bath, while the top floor offers a bonus space currently used as a playroom.
The one-acre grounds include a new swimming pool with a spa, waterslide, and waterfall, a firepit, an al fresco dining area, a sports court, a mini-putting green, and a childrenโs play area.
The property also has a motorcourt and a carport accommodating up to 10 vehicles.
In addition to these homes, Trainor and Sabara recently purchased a modern farmhouse-style home in Encino for US$3.1 million.
