Meghan Trainor lists her LA ‘farmhouse’

Grammy-award winning singer Meghan Trainor has listed her Valley Village, Los Angeles, property for sale, with a price tag just shy of US$2.4 million.

This follows her previous sale of a Toluca Lake estate to actress Julie Bowen for US$6 million over two years ago.

Trainor initially bought the single-storey Valley Village farmhouse for US$1.7 million in December 2016, shortly before her marriage to actor Daryl Sabara, according to the Robb Report.

The property spans less than a quarter-acre and features enhanced security measures, including multiple cameras.

The 315sq m interior offers an open living concept, comprising four bedrooms and four bathrooms.

Highlights include high ceilings, European oak floors, advanced Lutron lighting, and surround sound system throughout the home.

The house exterior features a white wood-shingled facade with an attached two-car garage.

The entrance opens to a grassy lawn leading to the main door. Inside, the gourmet kitchen boasts custom cabinets, a large eat-in island, and high-end stainless-steel appliances.

It connects to a dining area and a family room that houses a gas fireplace, framed by custom shelving.

Accordion-style glass doors lead to a covered patio, extending the living space outdoors.

The property also contains a formal living room and a luxurious primary bedroom, complete with a walk-in closet and a spa-like bathroom.

The bathroom features dual vanities, a soaking tub, and a large rainfall shower.

According to the listing by Justin Paul Huchel of Carolwood Estates, the fenced backyard has ample space for a pool installation.

Trainor has never used this house as her main residence.

She currently resides in the upscale neighbourhood of Encino, Los Angeles, where she and Sabara purchased a mansion for US$6.6 million in 2020.
