James Boulton has joined the LJ Hooker Group as Head of Marketing, bringing more than a decadeโs international and local real estate marketing experience to the role.

Following an international search, LJ Hooker Group today announced the appointment of James Boulton to the new role of Head of Marketing for its house of brands.
Mr Boulton, who brings more than a decadeโs international and local real estate marketing experience to the role, officially started today (1 February).
Speaking about the appointment, LJ Hooker Chief Performance Officer Christine Mikhael, said she was pleased to welcome someone as experienced and revered in the international real estate industry as Mr Boulton.

At Compass, Mr Boulton developed brand marketing and acquisition strategies to support its strategic growth in new markets across the United States.
โHis track record at Compass was outstanding. James played a key role in the attraction of top agent teams to support Compassโ rapid expansion across the United States, and his development of marketing onboarding operations and integration processes led to a talent retention rate of 99.7 per cent,โ Ms Mikhael said.
โMost recently, James led the global repositioning of international money transfer and solutions provider Xe, as it expanded its services to more than 40 new countries.โ
Before moving to the United States, James was the Marketing Manager for McGrath Limited. โDespite navigating two years of various lockdowns and challenging conditions, the LJ Hooker Group had its strongest year on record thanks to the dedication of our offices and the platforms, processes and teams we have in place to support them,โ Ms Mikhael said.
โWe opened 13 LJ Hooker offices in new markets around Australia and two new Atlas offices in premium Sydney markets.
