Hutton & Hutton and DIAKRIT are stepping up online listings

New Farm-based real estate agency Hutton & Hutton have teamed up with DIAKRIT to revolutionise the way people are looking at purchasing property.

DIAKRIT pride themselves on combining the highest quality photography and videography for listings with 2D floorplans, furnished 3D floor plans, virtual walkthroughs, virtual furnishings, and virtual renovations.

Fletcher Norman, the Queensland state sales manager for DIAKRIT, said the software will forever change the way people view online listings.

“Today’s buyers are time-poor; they crave knowledge and convenience, so we’ve developed technology to make the process of envisioning the future as easy as possible,” he said.

“Buyers are able to put their own furniture within the house to see whether the floor plan meets their requirements and if it doesn’t, they can virtually renovate the space to figure out what works best for them!

“With this technology, if you don’t like the splashback in the kitchen, you can change it digitally and start planning kitchen renovations prior to purchasing the property,” he said.

“DIAKRIT is going to help people better visualise the potential and possibilities of their new homes and it’s going to change the way people use online portals like realestate.com.au.”

CEO of Hutton & Hutton Real Estate, Peter Hutton, said he is excited to see how buyers will use this technology to make more informed purchase decisions.

“Some buyers will shy away from a property because they can’t see the potential it offers and DIAKRIT is going to change all that,” he said.

“For example, we recently listed the beautiful heritage home, La Quercia at 42 Villiers Street, New Farm and it will be one of the first properties to utilise this technology within our business.

“People think heritage listing means no renovation possibilities, but that’s just not true,” he said.

“This property has a development permit for partial demolition and extension to a local heritage place thanks to the town planning work performed by John Gaskell Planning Consultants in conjunction with Cottee Parker and Mark Williams architects.

“These plans include a three-level modernisation and extension, expanding the existing floor area of 314m2 to a whopping 543m2,” he said.
