Paul recently joined CBRE in a Senior Director role, bringing more than 38 years of real estate experience to the position, including more than two decades in industrial sales and leasing.
Alistair Laycock, CBRE’s Senior Managing Director for South Australia, said the appointment would strengthen the firm’s Industrial & Logistics offering for clients.
“Paul has a deep understanding of the South Australian Industrial & Logistics market and brings fresh insights and perspectives to the challenges and opportunities facing the sector, making him ideally suited to lead the team into its next phase and build on our market-leading position across Greater Adelaide,” Alistair said.
Paul Tierney, speaking on his appointment, pointed to the pace of change in the sector.
“The South Australian industrial and logistics landscape is evolving rapidly, driven by major supply chain shifts, urban renewal, and demand for prime logistics and manufacturing infrastructure,” he said.
“My priority is to empower our team to harness our deep local market intelligence alongside CBRE’s world-class global platform. By doubling down on collaboration, client-first advisory, and rigorous execution, we will continue to secure a wide range of transactions, unlock strategic land and development opportunities, and deliver unmatched value for our clients across the state,” he added.
Paul McKay, CBRE’s Senior Director of Industrial & Logistics, who previously led the SA I&L team, will now focus on expanding I&L Capital Markets and investment activity in the state, working with CBRE’s national I&L Capital Markets division.
