Homely and Ray White celebrate Australia’s leading ladies of real estate

Homely is proud to announce its sponsorship of the ‘Leading Ladies of Real Estate’ event in Queensland, hosted by Ray White.

The event will be held at The Grove, Brisbane, on Wednesday, 24 November from 6pm.

This Queensland event is one of three held by Ray White, including in Sydney and Adelaide simultaneously.

The evening is designed to support agent development, inspire fellow professionals with shared insights and provide women with the opportunity to develop meaningful network connections.

Featuring a panel of top industry names including Antonia Mercorella, Chief Executive Officer of the Real Estate Institute of Queensland , Jess Culling of Ray White Newport, Belle Property Hope Island’s Sally O’Neill, plus keynote speaker, media commentator and ex-athlete Laura Geitz.

Keynote speaker and all-round ‘game changer’, Laura Geitz knows a thing or two about the power of playing as a team and adopting a high performance mindset.

Geitz was quoted in AthletesVoice earlier this year having said, “In sport, where things don’t always go to plan, it’s difficult to keep your energy and morale up all the time, and that’s when I would lean on the team.”

It’s this mindset of valuing strong networks that Ray White hopes to switch on for the industry’s women with this event.

“We are now seeing some of Australian real estate’s greatest success stories come from women and so the industry culture should reflect that. It’s never been more important to ensure we’re supporting the development of professionals in our industry and providing valuable networking opportunities,” Sally Patch, Chief Agency Officer (QLD) for Ray White Corporate Queensland, said.

Homely is the country’s largest industry-backed portal so it was a natural decision for the company to support their industry partner Ray White’s initiative in this space.

“The power of shared insights and mutual support amongst female professionals in the industry is critical to anyone looking to thrive and perform at their best,” Amanda Kramer, Head of Marketing at Homely, said.

“At Homely, we are passionate supporters of the growth, development and retention of agents in our industry.

“We’re all fortunate to be so busy right now but there’s never been a more important time to take some time and stay connected with our networks.

“Homely is very proud to support Sally and the team at Ray White in this initiative and look forward to many more events with our like-minded partners.”

Sonya Treloar, Homely partner and Sales Director, Ray White Bridgeman Downs, said women brought a “decidedly different perspective to real estate”.

“Irrespective of the shingle over our door, we have much knowledge and experiences that we can share whilst solving many of the common challenges,” she said.

“This opportunity, supported by Homely, is an initiative that will allow us all to share, improve and grow, which is something I am passionate about “
