Harcourts NSW Achieves Record Growth, Expands Network

Harcourts NSW/ACT has reached a significant milestone in 2026, accepting 11 new franchise applications in the first six months of the year, placing the network firmly on track to achieve its target of 20 new offices by year-end.

The result represents one of the strongest periods of growth in the network’s recent history and reinforces Harcourts’ position as one of the fastest-growing real estate franchise groups in New South Wales.

CEO of Harcourts NSW/ACT, Andrew McCulloch, said the growth reflects a combination of market confidence, strategic leadership, and a renewed focus on helping business owners build stronger, more profitable real estate businesses.

“At a time when many businesses across the industry are facing increasing costs, recruitment challenges, and market uncertainty, we’re seeing more and more business owners looking for a partner that can genuinely help them grow,” said Andrew.

“The fact that we’ve accepted 11 new applications by the halfway point of the year demonstrates the strength of the Harcourts proposition and the momentum we are building across New South Wales.”

A key driver behind the growth has been the work of Tina Ashton (pictured with Andrew McCulloch), Chief Growth Officer of Harcourts Australia, who has played a pivotal role in identifying opportunities, building relationships with prospective business owners and guiding them through the transition process.

“Tina has done an outstanding job. Her professionalism, industry knowledge and genuine care for helping business owners succeed have been instrumental in the growth we’ve experienced this year,” Andrew said.

“The partnership between Tina and myself has allowed us to focus not only on attracting new offices, but ensuring that every business joining the network is aligned with our culture, values, and long-term vision.”

The growth comes amid a broader transformation strategy across Harcourts NSW/ACT, focused on helping offices improve profitability through better business planning, leadership development, recruitment support, technology optimisation and AI implementation.

Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, Harcourts NSW/ACT has focused on delivering tailored growth strategies that help principals create sustainable, high-performing businesses.

“We’re not simply adding office numbers,” Andrew said. “We’re building stronger businesses. Our goal is to help our franchise partners grow market share, improve profitability and create businesses that are more valuable in the long term.”

With another six months remaining in the calendar year and a strong pipeline of prospective offices currently in discussion, Harcourts NSW/ACT remains confident it will achieve – and potentially exceed – its growth target for 2026.

“The momentum is real, and we’re only just getting started. We believe Harcourts is becoming the destination of choice for ambitious business owners who want a genuine growth partner, and we’re excited about what the second half of 2026 will bring,” Andrew said.
