Harcourts Narooma has opened its doors, giving the established Harcourts Batemans Bay team a second base to serve the wider Eurobodalla region.
The business is owned by Omania Terry and Dene Lewthwaite, who have built a team working across residential sales, property management and holiday rentals from their Batemans Bay office.
Dene brings more than 27 years of real estate experience, moving to Batemans Bay in 2011 before taking on the Harcourts franchise in 2019. Omania joined the business in 2020, bringing an MBA in Business and a background in client relationships.
The Narooma office will operate under a “two locations, one team” approach, aimed at giving clients across southern Eurobodalla greater access to the business without losing the local relationships it has built.
Harcourts NSW/ACT CEO Andrew McCulloch said the move reflected the strength of the existing team.
“Expanding into Narooma is a great next step for Omania, Dene and the team,” Andrew said. “They have built a strong local business by putting relationships first, and this new office gives them an opportunity to extend that approach across even more of the Eurobodalla region.”
Omania said the expansion was about extending the team’s existing approach rather than changing it.
“We’ve always believed that real estate is about people and relationships,” she said. “Having a presence in Narooma means we can be even more accessible to clients across southern Eurobodalla, while still bringing the same team approach and local knowledge to everything we do.”
The push into Narooma was driven in part by two team members already working in the area. Sales team member Jenna Turnbull, who joined Harcourts Batemans Bay last year, brought local connections that helped identify the opportunity.
She was joined by property manager Melissa Dell, who has more than four years of local real estate experience, and the pair have helped lay the groundwork for the new office.
Dene said the region’s variety of property markets, spanning coastal and rural communities from Batemans Bay through Moruya to Narooma, was a key factor behind the expansion.
“Our team has developed relationships across Eurobodalla, and having offices in both Batemans Bay and Narooma allows us to bring that local knowledge closer to more of the people we work with,” Dene said.
The Narooma office will offer residential, land and development sales, property management and short-term rentals, along with property preparation, maintenance and styling services.
That focus on community extends beyond property.
Harcourts Batemans Bay’s annual Golf Day, which the team says has become an important event on the local calendar, brings together local businesses and supporters to raise funds for worthwhile causes. Now in its fourth year, the 2026 event will support Ronald McDonald House Charities, with the Golf Day taking place on 25 September.
