Glenn Sanford has again been appointed as chief executive officer of eXp Realty, the virtual real estate brokerage he founded in 2009.
Mr Sanford, who is also the founder, chairman and CEO of eXp World Holdings, will take up the new role alongside his other commitments.
Jason Gesing has also been appointed chief industry relations officer at eXp World Holdings, which is the holding company for not just eXp Realty but Virbela and SUCCESS Enterprises.
The moves are all in the name of growth and building the next generation of agents at eXp Realty, despite challenges in various global real estate markets.

“Our model was designed to withstand varying market conditions… This uniquely positions us to continue investing in our future and iterating on our industry-leading agent value proposition.

Since its inception in 2009, eXp Realty has become the fastest growing real estate company in the world, with more than 86,000 against in the US, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, South Africa, India, Mexico, Portugal, France, Puerto Rico, Brazil, Italy, Hong Kong, Colombia, Spain, Israel, Panama, Germany, Dominican Republic, Greece, New Zealand, Chile and Poland.
In December 2022, eXp Realty started operating its cloud-based operation in Dubai, led by Dounia Fadi.
When eXp Realty came to Australia in 2019, Mr Gesing told Elite Agent the model provided agencies with a way to reduce costs while growing their business.
“There are great cost savings that come with not having brick and mortar offices in each of our markets,” he said.
“There are great cost savings with not having to replicate certain staff roles, but at the same time providing very interpersonal and engaging experiences.”
Mr Gesing joined the company in 2010 and most recently served as CEO of eXp Realty.
As chief industry relations officer, Mr Gesing will focus on industry relations, metaverse advisory and environment, social governance (ESG) initiatives.
He will also continue to serve on the eXp World Holdings board of directors.
“Jason has been an integral part of the company ever since he joined in 2010,” Mr Sanford said.
