Supermodel Gisele Bündchen has bought a US$9.1 million home in Southwest Ranches, Florida, located roughly an hour from Miami.
The purchase comes three years after she and her former partner, NFL star Tom Brady, moved to Florida. Brady himself has recently acquired a property in a Miami billionaire enclave.
The Southwest Ranches property spans 7.5 acres and features a 481sq m main house along with a guest apartment, according to Architectural Digest.
The main house comprises nine bedrooms and nine bathrooms.
Its traditional red brick exterior is a stark contrast to its modern, open-plan interior which includes features like a floating glass staircase.
The living room houses a large fireplace and a white sectional sofa. The kitchen is a gourmet affair, sporting an oversized island with Italian Calacatta quartz countertops.
The primary suite on the ground floor comes with a spacious walk-in closet and its own seating area, providing ample storage for Bündchen’s extensive wardrobe.
Outdoor amenities are a standout feature, including a state-of-the-art equestrian rink and 10 horse stalls. This seems to fit well with Bündchen’s known love for horseback riding.
She has often been seen cheering her daughter Vivian at riding lessons in the Miami region.
Additionally, the property contains tennis courts, a soccer pitch, and a resort-like pool area adorned with palm trees and water features.
Chad Bishop and Saddy Abaunza Delgado from ONE Sotheby’s International Realty represented the seller.
Bündchen enlisted the help of Laura Valente from Global Luxury Realty LLC for her purchase.
