Gavin Rubinstein has become the first agent across Ray White’s Australian and New Zealand network, which spans roughly 13,000 agents, to reach Elite status for the 2026/27 recognition year, just six weeks into the new financial year.
For the founder of TRG, the milestone is less about a fast start than continuity and Gavin is now on track to achieve Chairman’s Elite status, Ray White’s highest recognition tier, for the 13th consecutive year since it was introduced, one of only six people across the entire group to have held that record without a break.
His current sales are more than double those of the next-highest performer in the network and in the three months to May, Gavin exchanged on just shy of $200 million worth of property, all of which is now settling.
It follows a run that saw him named No. 1 International Principal for Settled Commission and Top Residential Sales Performer Internationally at the 2025 Ray White International Awards.
“I have always been fond of this metric because I feel it is a direct correlation of the value you add to the market place as an agent – and it is only possible because of my clients who have given me the opportunity to represent them in a changing climate,” Gavin said.
“Every day my team and I strive for excellence. On the days we miss, we learn and try to evolve our practice moving forward to ensure we continue to deliver premium outcomes for the people that we represent.”
TRG started as a boutique agency in 2019 and has grown into what Gavin describes as one of Sydney’s leading luxury operators, with offices now in Rose Bay, Woollahra, Hunters Hill and Dubai, UAE.
Gavin pointed to precision, urgency and a vendor-first culture as the standards behind that growth.
“I feel TRG has broadly established its culture and values as a team and it is ever evolving particularly in the midst of a significant market shift. In my opinion, this shift will bring out the best not only in our office but in the industry as a whole,” he said.
“Service across the board for both sellers and buyers alike can always improve and we want to focus particularly in these areas across the TRG brand.”
“I look forward to driving the people who represent TRG to continue to not only get great results for their clients but also to have some fun along the way. This is an incredible industry and we should all be excited to be a part of it and what’s to come.”
Gavin reached Elite status in August this year, a full month earlier than in 2025, when he qualified in September.
