Chris Evans is selling his Hollywood Hills home for just under US$6.4 million (A$8.96 million) after more than a decade in Los Angeles.
The Massachusetts native bought the property in 2013 for US$3.52 million (A$4.93 million) and first listed it nearly a year ago at close to US$7 million (A$9.8 million) before reducing the asking price.
Evans is relocating to the East Coast with his wife Alba Baptista and their daughter Alma, according to Entertainment Now.
“The West Coast is beautiful, and I’ve spent more than a decade in this home enjoying Los Angeles,” Chris said.
“But I’ve decided to spend more time on the East Coast. It feels like the right moment to pass this beautiful property to the next owner.”
The split-level home sits above Mulholland Drive on a three-quarter-acre parcel, tucked behind security gates and greenery.

Originally built in the 1940s and renovated since, the property has vaulted open-beam ceilings, vast picture windows, and a dramatic fireplace anchoring the main living spaces, which connect to a dining area with a wet bar.

The chef’s kitchen is equipped with a 60-inch Wolf range beneath a 10-foot custom hood, Sub-Zero refrigeration, dual Thermador dishwashers, a Miele espresso system, and Bianca marble counters beneath natural skylights.

The primary suite occupies the southern wing and opens to an Ipe-wood deck overlooking the Santa Monica Mountains. The bathroom features radiant floors, a steam shower, and a freestanding tub.

The property’s most distinctive feature is its private gym – personally outfitted by Chris as his Captain America training space.
A separate guesthouse offers fully self-contained living, with its own kitchen, office, and private entrance.

Outside, vineyard-inspired gardens, mature coral trees, multiple patios, stone pathways, and hidden sitting areas surround a pool and spa oriented toward sunsets over Laurel Canyon.

The listing is held by Scott Moore of Christie’s International Real Estate Southern California.
