First National Real Estate has added an established Hills District business to its network, with Director Raj Bhandari’s agency now trading as First National Kellyville.
The sales and property management business has operated from North Kellyville since 2019, serving homeowners, buyers, investors and landlords across Kellyville, North Kellyville, Box Hill, The Gables and surrounding suburbs.
Raj began his property career in lending in 2000 before moving into real estate in 2011, and has since owned and operated real estate businesses, building experience across property finance, residential sales, auctions and property management.
He said the move followed a careful assessment of the support available to independently owned agencies.
“We wanted to retain the independence that allows us to make decisions in the interests of our clients and local community, while gaining access to stronger corporate support, professional development and property management resources,” Raj said.
“First National’s cooperative structure was particularly appealing. It gives us the opportunity to learn from other business owners, contribute to the direction of the network and access systems that will help our team continue to develop.
“Our clients will continue dealing with the same local people they know and trust. What changes is the level of support, technology, marketing and training available behind our team.”
Raj said the agency’s focus on clear communication, considered property advice and skilled negotiation would not change.
“Property decisions can have a lasting effect on a person’s financial position and future plans. Our role is to understand what each client needs, explain their options clearly and work towards the strongest possible outcome,” he said.
First National Real Estate Chief Executive Officer David Edwards welcomed Raj and his team to the network.
“Raj has built an established business with strong local relationships and a clear commitment to both sales and property management,” David said.
“His decision comes amid a surge of interest in First National from established franchisees who are reassessing whether their current network provides the support, value and flexibility their businesses now require,” David added.
Raj said the change marked a new stage for the business rather than a shift in its local priorities.
“We have served this community since 2019 and remain focused on building lasting relationships with the people who live and invest here,” he said.
