Ray White New South Wales Chief Executive Officer Andrew McCulloch congratulated the trio on joining the Ray White Group.
The Announcement:
Port Stephens real estate expert Bill Knaggs has merged his family business with fourth generation family business, Ray White.ย
Mr Knaggs has brought his second generation family business under the Ray White umbrella along with daughter Rowena Hernandez and son-in-law to his other daughter Aramis Pincovai.
Rowena will continue to manage the business while Aramis, a licensed agent, heads up the sales team.
The Knaggs family’s existing two offices, one in Fingal Bay and the other in Nelson Bay, have both transitioned to the Ray White Knaggs Group name.ย
Mr Knaggs said the Port Stephens area has only really been discovered in the last three years and the advent of COVID-19.
“A lot of people have just discovered this area. It amazed me that a lot of our clients are coming from Sydney and venturing here for the first time,” he said.
“They had finally decided to take the right hand turn on the highway two hours out of Sydney and were amazed at the natural beauty and village feel of the area. It’s like Byron Bay was 30 years ago.
“We’ve also now got federal funding for an expansion of our local airport which will allow overseas flights to come in directly.
“There’s also a lot of technology going in around the airport and there will be big expansions in the industrial and aerospace sectors.
“The mining side may be getting quieter but our the technology and tourism sides are about to go through the roof.”
Mr Knaggs originally came from a marine background and started his career as a broker. He began as a real estate agent 20 years ago before going out on his own.
He said partnering with Ray White made him feel confident about the future of the business.ย
“Knowing that we have a solid backing behind us in the Ray White Group will allow me to take a step back in the future. Ray White is a family business just like ours and our values align which makes the partnership a perfect fit,” he said.
Ms Hernandez said it was important to the team that the local community know they are still the same familiar faces, offering the same great service.
“Everything is staying the same as far as who looks after our clients and who they get on the end of the phone.
“We want our local community to know we now have more reach and better support which makes us stronger and better able to service the area,” she said.
“All that information, global reach and technology is now at our fingertips and there for our clients to use.”
Whether it’s residential, commercial or rural property they are buying, selling or leasing, the Ray White Knaggs Group pride themselves on giving the best possible service for their clients.
“Working with us goes beyond just being a business experience. We have a good connection to the community and great community spirit. We genuinely care about our clients,” Mr Pincovai said.
“For many years we didn’t advertise, we just had word-of-mouth and repeat clients. I have many clients who have stuck with me throughout their property journey from buying to selling.”
Ray White New South Wales CEO Andrew McCulloch congratulated the trio on joining the Ray White Group.
“We are thrilled to welcome Bill, Rowena and Aramis to the Ray White Group. We pride ourselves on being a family business and are delighted to be aligning ourselves with another family business,” he said.
“I have no doubt they will be an asset to the group and look forward to celebrating their success.”
