Eview celebrates top performers and a year of success at annual awards

The Eview Group has celebrated a year of growth and achievement, recognising its top performers and standout agents at their annual awards night on Saturday.

Held at the Victoria State Library with over 250 guests in attendance, the evening offered the opportunity to mark the milestones of the year gone by and look to the future ahead.

Eview Group Founder Manos Findikakis noted the occasion recognised 13 years of hard work and dedication from a growing team.

“It would be a cliché to say the years have passed in just a moment, or it feels just like yesterday that we got started – and it is amazing to think just how far we have all come,” Mr Findikakis said.

“Over 17,000 properties sold or just on $10 billion in sales; thousands of rental properties leased and under management, and a team of over 300 in 45 plus independent businesses now stretching across Australia.

“The numbers are impressive. But it hasn’t been overnight, and as we all know, it doesn’t come easy.

“It takes an incredible amount of hard work, dedication and courage to make a mark in this industry. Real estate is simple; it’s just not that easy.”

Amidst a standout field of six high-performing nominees, South Australian agent Mike Lao of Edge Realty was named Principal of the Year.

The award was based on key criteria including numerical results over the 2018/19 financial year, time of tenure within the year, contribution within that time frame, and embracing Eview Group’s core values.

Mr Lao and Edge Realty have been with the Eview Group since November 2018.

Meanwhile, agent Joel Hood of Mornington Peninsula-based agency, Joel Hood Property, was named the group’s Salesperson of the Year.

Mr Hood has been with the Eview Group since 2014 and started his own brand in June 2016. He previously also won the title of Salesperson of the Year in 2016.

In the property management arena, Zebra Property Management of Frankston took out Property Management Agency of the Year, while their senior property managers Sarah Benbow and Nadine Arnslow were also jointly named Property Managers of the Year.

Mr Findikakis noted across the board Eview’s property management departments had enjoyed massive growth courtesy of the introduction of new technologies and a new customer-centric program in 2018/19.

Other top performers at the awards night included:

  • Enterprise Office of the Year – Eview Group Mornington Peninsula, run by Jarrod Carman
  • Boutique Office of the Year – Edge Realty in Salisbury, South Australia, run by Mike Lao and Amy Sim
  • Effective Business Unit of the Year – Stirling Estate Agents in Somerville, run by Jason Stirling and Chantal Halliburton

“As we celebrate this year’s achievements, as we recognise the category nominees and winners who come across the stage, we don’t clap for the trophy they receive but rather acknowledge the effort and commitment they gave to achieve it,” Mr Findikakis said.

“We think of the late nights, the time away from their families, their determination and sacrifice they make to succeed. We celebrate and acknowledge that. And once we do that, we can all be inspired.”
