Dave McMahon joins BresicWhitney as head of sales and auctions

Dave McMahon has joined BresicWhitney as Head of Sales and Auctions, with Bianca Todarello stepping into the newly created role of Head of People and Performance – Sales.

Dave brings over a decade of experience across real estate leadership and auctioneering, with thousands of auctions to his name, according to the group.

He joins BresicWhitney in November.

At BresicWhitney, his focus will be on empowering the group’s 80+ agents, who work as one connected team across Sydney’s lifestyle markets.

That will include hands-on guidance across campaign strategy, individual performance coaching and auctioneering.

BresicWhitney CEO Will Gosse said the appointment reflected the calibre of leadership the group was looking to build.

“To continue growing and shaping the best people, we need the best leaders. Dave is one of them. His trust in BresicWhitney speaks to the group we are now, and more about who we’ll be in future,” Will said.

“We have high expectations of our people and their expectations of us are equally high. We’re ambitious about not only what they can achieve, but the quality of the experiences and opportunities we provide for them. We’re delighted to have Dave on board and shape this next phase of his career together.”

Dave, speaking on his appointment, said BresicWhitney’s track record in developing talent set it apart.

“BresicWhitney has been a centre of excellence in Sydney real estate for more than two decades, and its track record of developing high-performing salespeople and leaders within the industry is second to none,” he said.

“The investment they make in their people, their ambition, and their clear focus on becoming Sydney’s leading property group are what make me extremely excited to join the team.”

Alongside the appointment, Bianca Todarello moves into her new role after more than a decade with BresicWhitney across sales leadership and business management.

Her focus will be on strengthening the performance culture, values and frameworks that define the group’s sales team, with Bianca and Dave working together across the group to drive high performance.

“Ensuring our agents have the tools to sustain high performance, clear expectations, and ambitious opportunities is so important to us,” Will said.

“The partnership between Bianca and Dave will ensure our sales culture remains a competitive advantage, and a reason great agents and leaders choose to grow their careers at BresicWhitney.”

BresicWhitney’s talent pipeline has previously produced agents including Adrian Oddi, Andrew Liddell, Chris Nunn and Catherine Dixon.

Across 2026 to date, the group has sold close to $2 billion of Sydney real estate across the lifestyle markets.
