Following a long and successful career in Asia and the United States, Michael Montelibano is bringing his experience and skills to Australia and Colliers International’s Canberra office.
“We are exceedingly pleased to have such as accomplished property professional joining our business,” Colliers International State Chief Executive Paul Powderly said.
Mr Montelibano’s corporate history includes experience in mergers & acquisitions (M&A), real estate private equity and investment banking, government advisory for infrastructure and Public-Private Partnerships, and credit enhancement and structured finance.
Over the course of his career, Mr Montelibano has worked for some of the world’s most recognisable names, such as Deutsche Bank, Arthur Andersen and Jones Lang LaSalle.
Since 2013, Mr Montelibano has held the position of Executive Director and Head of Business Development at Ayala Corporation in the Philippines.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Mr Montelibano earned his MBA at the University of California, Berkeley.
“It is not only in the professional arena where Michael has excelled. He was a member of the Philippines National Swimming Team from 1983 to 1987 and is a salsa dance instructor,” Mr Powderly said.
“Colliers International believes Michael will contribute strongly to our team and we look forward to working with him to continue growing our Investment Services business.”
