Clearer picture as CoreLogic announces partnership with Nearmap

CoreLogic Asia Pacific has announced a partnership with leading geospatial information services provider Nearmap.

The move is designed to enhance CoreLogic’s products with high-quality aerial imagery and superior location insights across Australia and New Zealand.

As part of the new agreement, Nearmap’s industry-leading aerial imagery will be integrated into CoreLogic’s solutions to provide richer mapping and imagery data across its suite of valuations and property insight products, which include ValConnect, PropertyHub and RP Data.

Cordell Connect customers will also be able to see changes over time on development sites, with access to historical imagery for ‘before and after’ visual comparisons.

Tim Jenner, CoreLogic Executive – Product, Data & Analytics, said the partnership would allow CoreLogic to deliver even deeper location insights to the end users across its products, helping to drive informed property decisions remotely.

“We’re passionate about data accuracy and coverage and continually raising the bar to ensure we power our customers with best-in-market property insights,” Mr Jenner said.

“Integrating Nearmap’s industry-leading geospatial technology with CoreLogic’s property data universe, will allow us to seamlessly deliver high-resolution, current aerial imagery, overlaid with CoreLogic’s rich property data and insights.”

Mr Jenner said having reliable access to high-quality imagery would help clients better understand properties and their surrounding environments and how they have changed over time, potentially reducing the need to physically visit sites.

“We’re excited that our clients will be enabled to plan projects, make confident property decisions, and boost efficiencies from their desktop,” Mr Jenner said.

Nearmap CEO and Managing Director Dr Rob Newman said the company was excited to announce the partnership with CoreLogic.

“We’re thrilled to partner with CoreLogic and build on our work in enabling customers to leverage accurate, high-resolution imagery and data to gain deeper property insights,” Dr Newman said.

“Through this collaboration, we look forward to providing high-value content that drives further business clarity and innovation.”

Captured from light aircraft rather than satellite, and using state-of-the-art proprietary camera technology, Nearmap’s imagery makes it easier to understand and analyse the current features of a property and its surrounding environment.
